1. Scope and Operator
This Privacy Policy applies to anonypeek.com and the AnonyPeek website, tools, pages and related services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by AnonyPeek through anonypeek.com (“AnonyPeek,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy does not apply to Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., third-party websites, browser extensions, applications or services that we do not control.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Service and how the Service is configured.
2.1 Information You Provide

- Information included in a legal, copyright, security or abuse report, including contact details, statements and supporting materials.
- Feedback or other information you voluntarily send to us.
2.2 Search Inputs
When you use the Service, you may enter an Instagram username, public profile URL or similar search input. We process that input to provide requested results, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors and maintain Service reliability. Search inputs may relate to a third party and should not include passwords, authentication tokens, private messages, government identifiers, financial information, health information or other sensitive personal information.
2.3 Device, Log and Usage Information
- Internet Protocol address, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language and time zone.
- Pages viewed, referring and exit pages, timestamps, request identifiers, response status and diagnostic information.
- Security and fraud signals, including rate-limit events, suspected automated traffic and attempts to misuse the Service.
- Cookie identifiers and similar online identifiers where they are used.
2.4 Local Saved Profiles
Profiles you save through the Service are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not used to create a server-side saved-profile account. You can remove individual entries or clear the saved list from the Saved profiles page or through your browser controls.
2.5 Information from Service Providers and Third Parties
We may receive limited information from hosting, security, content-delivery, analytics, sharing, customer-support and other service providers. We may also process publicly available profile and Story information in response to a user’s search. Third-party content is governed by the rights and policies of its source and is not treated as information supplied directly by the visitor.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, maintain and improve the Service.
- Process searches and return supported public results.
- Protect the Service, users, rights holders and third parties from fraud, abuse, security threats and unlawful activity.
- Enforce our Terms of Use and other policies.
- Respond to support, privacy, legal, copyright and security requests.
- Measure performance, understand general usage and diagnose technical problems.
- Comply with law, legal process and valid governmental requests.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, scripts and similar technologies to keep the Service functional, remember preferences, protect against abuse and understand usage. You can control browser storage and cookies through your browser settings, although blocking essential storage may affect some features.
AnonyPeek’s analytics and sharing integrations are optional and are not loaded unless they are configured for the Service. If non-essential technologies are enabled, we will provide notices or choices where applicable law requires them.
5. Analytics and Sharing Tools
If enabled, analytics services may process device, usage and online identifier information to measure traffic, performance and general interaction with the Service. If sharing tools are enabled, the provider may process information when its controls load or are used. These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.
AnonyPeek does not currently sell personal information for money or configure cross-context behavioral advertising as part of the Service. If these practices change, this Policy will be updated and legally required choices will be implemented before activation.
6. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. To vendors that provide hosting, content delivery, security, analytics, sharing, communications, support and professional services on our behalf.
- Legal and safety reasons. When disclosure is required by law, legal process or a valid governmental request, or is reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users or the public.
- Business transactions. In connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy or similar transaction, subject to required safeguards.
- With your direction or consent. When you ask us to disclose information or otherwise authorize the disclosure.
- Aggregated or de-identified information. In a form not reasonably capable of identifying you, subject to applicable law.
7. Sale, Sharing and Targeted Advertising Choices
AnonyPeek does not sell personal information for money. If future analytics or advertising disclosures are treated as a sale, sharing or targeted advertising under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, we will provide the required opt-out method and process legally recognized preference signals where required.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining security, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements and complying with legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and context.
Profile and media cache entries are configured to expire automatically. Operational logs and search-related records may be retained for a limited period for reliability, rate limiting, abuse prevention and diagnostics, after which they are deleted, aggregated or de-identified unless a longer period is reasonably required for security, legal or compliance purposes.
9. Data Security
We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No transmission, storage system or security measure is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Do not submit Instagram credentials or sensitive personal information through the Service. To report a security issue, contact admin@anonypeek.com.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of or a portable copy of certain personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of certain processing and to appeal a denied request.
To submit a request, email admin@anonypeek.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. If we deny a request, we will provide information about any available appeal process when required.
11. California Privacy Notice
This section applies only to the extent AnonyPeek is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. Categories of personal information we may collect include identifiers, internet or other electronic network activity, approximate geolocation and information contained in communications. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner subject to applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may contact admin@anonypeek.com.
The Terms of Use impose a higher minimum age for use of the Service.
13. International Visitors
AnonyPeek may process information in the United States and in other locations where its service providers operate. If you access the Service from another country, those locations may have data-protection laws different from the laws where you live.
14. Third-Party Services and Instagram
The Service may display, reference or link to third-party content or services. We do not control the privacy practices of Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., profile owners, service providers or external websites. Review their policies before interacting with them.
AnonyPeek is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
